| Over the past 25 years Alan has created, built, managed and sold a number of businesses. Alan's passion for problem solving and innovation frames his entrepreneurial approach to the native flora industry.
As the founder and CEO of Austem, Alan is harnessing his commercial experience and passion to effect change in the Australian native flora industry, which he believes is poised to grow, and create value for domestic and global customers.
His current commercial interests include Founding Partner of Yarra Capital Partners Pty Ltd, Arch Finance Pty Ltd and Qualitas Property Partners Pty Ltd, Director of Australian Life Insurance and Australian Glass Group and Executive Chairman of Bag Trans Group
Alan was awarded a Centenary Medal in 2003 and an Order of Australia (AM) in 2007.
Alan is the father of four magnificent children and has a new grandson.
